Speechless, Parts I & II

Maybe you are a language

I cannot read

Maybe you are a painting

And that is why your eyes

Are blue

Maybe you know

The answers

And that is why

You look away

Maybe I think too

Much

And that's why

I have nothing to say

If the eyes

Are the window

To the soul,

What do you think I should

See when I look into

Your eyes?

I do not believe in your naivety.

They say

Curiousity killed the cat

I wish I

Could ask

What you think of that.

The full saying is, "Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back," however that didn't fit the theme of the poem at the time I wrote it.
